Just getting back to MTG

I'm just getting back in to Magic after a 13 year hiatus. Back in 2009 I did pick up some intro decks and a few boosters but nothing major. Most of my cards are from the Unlimited, Ice Age area. I'm just wondering if anyone has a list of which cards from those sets might still be legal in Standard tournaments?

you can safely assume that none of them are standard legal.

there might be one or two reprints that I'm forgetting but you'll need to start from scratch if you want to play standard.

That's what I thought. Thanks.

So with the release of Avacyn Restored this Friday (I didn't get in on the pre-release), a Standard tourny now includes these sets right:

2012
Innistrad
Dark Ascension
Avacyn Restored

Anything released before 2012 is out of the Standard now right?

it also includes Scars of Mirrodin, Mirrodin Besieged and New Phyrexia.

These 3 sets will rotate out in October, when the Return to Ravnica block comes out.

Thanks for the info. I have to read the standard rules a bit closer then. Either way I don't think I'll worry to much about the previous block and concentrate on the newer ones.

When will Magic 2013 cycle into the block? When it come out in July?
