no to both, "legendary" is a supertype, not a creature type.

The cards you are asking about are looking for a creature type. "Legendary" is not a creature subtype, it's a supertype. In the case of Captain Sisay, since the creature type isn't printed on the card, you need to check the Oracle text for the card, usually found in the Gatherer (her creature types are "Human Soldier").
