question about mana reflection...

Can mana reflection cause you to mana burn yourself or does it negate that? For example: I play a spell that costs 5, but I need to tap at least three mana in order to get enough to play the spell. Would I then mana burn myself the extra 1?

mana burn has been removed from the game rules, it no longer exists.
