I'm currently trying to work with an Esper deck myself, but it seems to be becoming more of an artifact deck. I realize that most of my creatures tend to cost a lot to play so I tend to play as defensively as I can during the first few rounds then once I get something big enough on the field I just start wailing on the opponent as much as I can.
