a question about fetch lands.

hi guys, here with a rules question again.

lets say ive got a deck with lots of fetchlands in (arid mesa, marsh flats etc) and i have creatures with landfall abilities, lets say steppe linx, can this happen:

play one fetch land each turn, but dont tap them to find the card they suggest. after 3-4 (or more?) turns, tap ALL of the fetchlands, bring out 4-5 basic lands in one go, get +10+10 and be happy?
