Bloodhall ooze gets no love.

Can someone explain why bloodhall ooze never makes it into jund decks. I don't see any good reason to not consistantly have it. At worst its a 1 for 1 that draws out removal spells early but so is putrid leech. At best (or in any deck with sprouting or any jund deck) it's a continuously growing threat that can do some serious damage if you let it run. Someone explain it's downside to me?

Being a new player I might not be the best to answer this but I can see two possible reasons why people don't show this card "love".

1. There are better cards out there. I say this meaning that there might not be cards like Bloodhall ooze, but people might think they are wasting a card slot in their 60 card deck.

the other reason might be

2. It takes time. It takes time to be able to summon the monsters you need to make Bloodhall ooze what you need to make it. For example, first turn play a land and Bloodhall ooze. Opponent goes. Second turn, play another land and play a black permanent. Opponent goes. Third turn, first turn it gains a bonus of +1/+1 making it a 2/2. Play a third land and a green permanent. Opponent goes. 4th turn, +2/+2 making it a 4/4. In the amount of time it took for Bloodhall ooze to become a 4/4, your opponent had 3 opportunities to destroy it using something a simple as Shock. Not to mention the fact that that was the ideal set up. It will be rare to be able to pull this off perfectly so Bloodhall Ooze's power will take longer to power up and it will be harder to be useful.

The answer is very simple, jund is all about using the best creatures the format has to offer and Bloodhall ooze just doesn't qualify, it's not even close.

There's so much spot removal being played that each creature must be good by itself and not depend on other creatures.

Putrid Leech: Immune to Lightning Bolt, Burst Lightning and kills most early game creatures all for 2 mana.

Sprouting Thrinax: you have to kill it 4 times to get rid of it

Bloodbraid Elf: Cascades into a second spell and in a jund list that second spell will be useful 99% of the time.

Great Sable Stag: Protection vs black which is great in the Jund mirror game.

Siege-Gang Commander or Broodmate Dragon: Both create multiple threats

What is Bloodhall ooze against all these choices, which one could be dropped for a 1/1 that dies to every removal spell in the format and needs other permanents to become good?
