Arbor Elf Clarification

So, does the Arbor Elf's: :symtap: Untap target Forest, refer to the name of the card forest or the subtype forest? Such as, could Arbor Elf untap a sunpetal grove, since it is a forest plains.

Sunpetal grove is not a plains forest! But yes you can use arbor elf to untap any forest like dryad arbor, savannah, temple garden and that treefolk land from lorwyn block forgot its name.

Subtypes are listed on the card man, sunpetal grove clearly has no subtypes stated, its just a nonbasic land.
