As inn what kind of least expensive. Mana-wise or Money-wise. Is there a limit on either? If its mana should the most expensive card be like 4 max? In that case Naya rules. And if its budget, then lets say about $100 for the lot of cards or less? Could be a fun idea.

It is money wise there is no limit but in oreder to win you must make the cheapest standered deck. Like i said no limit to money just make it cheap.

That's my entry and I read it as cheapest as in money.

Edit: Didn't see the standard thing as I had the thread reply open while making the deck, so this is Extended instead. I might go and make a standard legal deck too to fit the challenge

Here's a fun and good deck you can put together for around $25: http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=38829

4 Hellspark Elemental (4 x $2.00 = $8)
4 Cliffrunner Behemoth (4 x $1.00 = $4)
4 Blitz Hellion (4 x $0.50 = $2)
4 Ruinous Minotaur (4 x $0.25 = $1)
4 River Boa (4 x $0.25 = $1)
4 Electropotence (4 x $0.25 = $1)
4 Glory of Warfare (4 x $1.00 = $4)
4 Zektar Shrine Expedition (4 x $0.25 = $1)
4 Harrow (4 x $0.25 = $1)
4 Rampant Growth (4 x $0.25 = $1)
9 Forest
9 Mountain
2 Plains

Total deck cost = $24

Of course this was trying to be as cheap as possible, while still remaining relatively good. If you have some extra money to spend, you'd want to consider cards such as ball lightning, hell's thunder, rampaging baloths, and birds of paradise.

Cheers!
