redirecting?

Can you redirect a creature spell to your side?

A "redirect" effect changes the TARGET of a spell. Creature spells do not have targets. So, in the broad sense of the word, No. Any targetted effects on a creature card will be an ability of the creature and as such will still not be affected by most redirects, unless you have one that can redirect abilities rather than spells.

However, there are a few spells that will allow you to "steal" creatures on the stack. Spelljack, Gather Specimens, Desertion, and possibly a few others.

I really hope you're just trolling...

A creatue doesn't target anything. They don't need to. You own the creature, you control the creature spell as it is cast and the creature once it resolves. It comes into play under your control. There is no "side of the battlefield".

I think hes asking whether or not you can cast something like Redirect on a creature spell to make it enter the battlefield under your control..

Vines, if an opponent casts a creature spell, it enters under his or her control unless it is countered. Their control is not being targeted-creatures have no targets, so no, you can not redirect creature spells. The only way to gain control of their creature is to steal it with something like act of treason, mind control, or simic manipulator.

Like mentioned above, there are no sides on the battlefield, it looks that way because we order our creatures in front of us, but there are no rules that specify locations on the battlefield. The only concepts you have are owner and controller, the owner can never change (not counting a few old cards) the controller however can be manipulated through cards and abilities that change control of creatures on the field. Creatures cast are always under the control of the caster and as of M10 tokens are always owned by their controller.
