Lightning Mauler Flicker?

I think I am just overthinking this, but,
If I bring in two creatures, Boros Elite and Mauler, and pair those two, but then flash in Resto Angel and repair Mauler to Angel, will Boros Elite still be able to swing?
I would say no, but I'm not sure.

I don't think so, since he loses haste. If haste erased summoning sickness for the turn I would say yes, but I'm almost positive that the sickness returns when haste leaves

Only creatures that have been under your control since your last upkeep can attack and/or use activated abilities that require it to tap (unless they have haste). That is the official definition of summoning sickness.

If it doesn't have haste and it wasn't under your control since your upkeep it can't attack...
