got a ? about doubble strike
if a monster has doubble strike after they attack once do they untap and attack again or just hit for doubble damage

double strike means the creature has 1st strike and regular attack

They tap to attack, doublestrike just means they do 2 rounds of damage for that one tap (once before everything without first strike and once during normal combat). Now if they have vigilance or you have a thousand year elixir (or umbral mantle or any number of things) YOU can untap them somehow after combat is over but you'll still just get the one attack.
