Q about heroic
What would happen if I try to enchant a creature with heroic and your oppenent uses a kill spell or activated ability in response to kill it. Will heroic trigger?

Heroic triggers as soon as you put a spell/aura on the stack targetting the creature. They can kill the creature in response but the heroic trigger will still (attempt to) resolve.

And by that you mean it will trigger unless they also use something to counter the triggered ability?

It will trigger regardless. It will attempt to resolve and if it's a heroic ability that puts counters on itself or another self buff, it will fizzle as the unit is no longer in play. If it's a heroic ability that taps something or buffs everything it will still resolve as normal.
Yes, you can play something like Stifle or Trickbind to counter the heroic ability although they aren't generally powerful enough that you'd need to two for one yourself with two removal spells vs one heroic creature...
