Warstorm Surge

I'm currently building a red/white soldier deck with both Captain of the Watch and Warstorm surge. If Captain of the Watch is on the field and a soldier enters the battlefield, would Captain of the Watch's buff apply to the creature entering for Warstorm Surge? Thank you for any help in advance

Please use card tags...

Without bothering to look him up I'm assuming he gives soldiers +1/+1... In which case, yes the buff is always applied and would increase the damage from surge.
