changeling deck questions/strategy

Hey all,

Very limited experience here. I know you're supposed to have a 60 card deck, but I like to build up rather than a fast deck.... (but that will come later)

Ok, so here is my deck.

It's mainly just for fun.

Any advice for making it better? What other cards I should look for to get?

Thanks!

Having 60 cards isn't about being faster, it's about being more consistent. The speed of a deck has to do with the rate at which you achieve your deck's gameplan, so a hundred-card deck could be fast if it was built right. But as you add more cards to your deck, it becomes slightly more unlikely that you'll see copies of any other particular card. Some people like to have decks where they're almost guarunteed to see a specific card every game. Some people have more fun with having their deck acting very differently every game. I'm not going to tell you not to play over 60 cards if you want to, I just wanted to clarify it had no bearing on the deck's speed.

If you can get your hands on Chameleon Colossus, Mirror Entity, and/or Tauren Mauler, you should definitely include them. I understand if they're not an option for you though.

Another good card to add would be Goblin Chieftan (or Goblin Warchief), as haste is a huge benefit to aggressive creature decks.

Boggart Birthrite reminded me of two cards: Wort, Boggart Auntie and Horde of Notions.

I'm not a huge fan of Ego Erasure, and I think you'd be better off playing additional copies of Nameless Inversion.

Note taken. I do understand that concept, however, I've only played friendly games so far. We really don't attack each other during early rounds. We always see what we can combo up. :D

Getting a crap load of cards soon, lots of commons and a lot of M10.
So I'll be sifting through them and adding those when I find them.

Cheers!
