Parallax Wave and Worldfire

If I use a Parallax Wave to to fade out my creatures and play a worldfire before it is wiped, what happens to the cards that are faded out? Parallax Wave states that when it leaves play the removed cards will return. Do these cards return during the Worldfire wipe, or do they come onto the battleground after worldfire has resolved?

If worldfire exiles Parallax Wave then they return to play fater worldfire resolves and after everything gets exiled.
