Okay so I feel like I really need to get this explained. Everyone is raving about LotU being the optimal/best target for PI, but I don't really see it. Sure it's not a bad target, but people say that PI will protect itself when targeting LotU. But it has protection anyway, since it's an illusion, right? LotU gives hexproof to all illusions, so as far as I can see that doesn't make any difference whether you target LotU or not since PI still makes the copy an illusion and therefore it still gets the pump from LotU.
I could see it being benifital if the PI stays a LotU-copy even if the copied LotU dies, but if it we're to die, the PI would die, right? Or does it stay in play?
This is driving me nuts, please explain somebody. ;P

And another question regarding this: If you have a LotU in play, and you copy it with a PI doesn't the PI then become a 4/4 LotU? Since the first LotU gives illusions +1/+1 and the copy gives illusions +1/+1 and its a illusion? So it gets pumped from the original LotU as well as from itself, right?

I welcome all answers/explanations! :)

Thanks!

It would be a 4/4 lord of the unreal illusion human wizard. If the original Lotu dies it becomes a 3/3 lord of the unreal illusion human wizard.
