heh, funny how you got both cards that are being printed incorrectly. See if you can find the mistakes on each card! (one's easy, one's really hard)

Well one of them should be an artifact but it's not, it's also a functional reprint of the Skyshroud Ranger. The nemesis trap though... my best guess is that the token should be under your control otherwise it's a delayed removal spell that just gives them a summoning sicknessed creature before killing it as soon as it's useable.

You got the easy one, the nemesis trap one isn't what you said, as any token created by an effect you control comes into play under your control unless otherwise specified. You're in the right area of the rules text.

No haste, the token's useless unless you have a way to give it haste, it'll die at the end of the attacking player's end step before you can ever use it for anything except blocking another creature.

[edit]

Found it at the official site, with the manlands the attacking white creature you copy might be a land and that gets you a copy of a land which can't be a creature token. So the word "creature" just needs to get ignored.

I still think the lack of haste makes the creation of the token pointless enough as to be useless.

no, its not completely useless.

its an instant so the creature can still be used to block, or can you not block with summoning sickness?
(iv never tried to spawn creatures during opponents turn and block with them)

you can still block, but yeah it's not that great. Kills Baneslayer pretty dead though.

So does every other removal spell in the game, it's got protection from demons and dragons. How useless is that? It's a 5/5 for 5 with three good abilities and two relatively useless ones. The only thing it'll be smiting with any kind of regularity is player's wallets.

I actually got my hands on a Walking Atlas yesterday during the Pre-Release of Worldwake. That's the real artwork and everything.

He's pretty killer when you've got two lands in your hand, a Harrow, and your Rampaging Baloth is itching to smash someone with Canpoy Cover.

Thanks for the info, yea The Walking Atlas should be an Artifact Creature. And the other one, the token would be just for blocking~
