ok so i got one in a booster pack about 5 minutes ago ^_^ what are your thoughts about this card? mind you i'm very new to the game, please and thank you

it's a good card, keep on to it!!

I've seen people abuse it like crazy in EDH.

It's strong in multiplayer and EDH, but it draws the hate. People may not attack you, seeing it as futile when you're just going to hop back to X life, but they will turn any hand/land/artifact destruction they have on you. So be forewarned!
