The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Deck Description

This has been updated to reflect my real-life deck. (Sorry, no expensive cards for my budget! :D ) I think i need to put the Tutors back, hehe... dunno what to take out. Leave constructive criticisms, please. Thank you all.

the 1U drop your thinking of is sage owl. You really do need to drop your cards down to around 60 and keep your lands at about 24. Drop 2 Forced Fruition and a megrim and put in 3 Diabolic tutors so you can run fewer spells with high mana costs and you can also search for the cards you need .

excellent. thanks for comments; will do. I play-tested this deck a couple days ago and it actually does fairly well despite its 70 cards. I wanted to add 2 more Perplex, as they serve for 1. Fetching Underworld Dreams/Megrim/Wistful Thinking, 2. Can counter, 3. Can discard.

I will remove Dismal Failure, as i never really got any use out of it. The white shall be removed. Sage Owls shall be added. Please comment further on deck improvements, i appreciate it.

Better? I sorta fixed up the mana base, removed the white. I didn't want to drop too many Forced Fruitions, because they just kick so much @ss. They lock down all opponents, help in decking out and discarding, and keep other people's hands fat.

Tried to add some sages, but couldn't decide what to drop. Vision skeins, maybe? Please comment on the updated deck.

once again, I appreciate your assistance.

Looking good. i'd like to see how it would run. I know that Damnation is very hard to get but if you get any you should put 3-4 in as well...

yeah... well, I like to keep my decks on a budget, so Damnations don't seem likely. Unless i get one from my friends... hehe they don't have any either.

This deck plays fairly well, usually lending itself to a near 1-hit K.O. with Wistful thinking and such. It needs more answers to creatures, however. I appreciate your comments, please provide additional feedback. Thanks! :)

Not to bad and looks pretty fun. I don't really know how to improve it, but when I build my decks I usually think of 2 things, what will be my offense and what will be my defense. So keep that in mind, and your decks should turn out fine. Please take a look at my deck [Cant Touch This]. Thanks and good luck!

please elaborate. I want as much information as possible, and would like to make this deck pwn as much face as possible. Thank you for your input, all of you.

- oh yeah, my deck has problems with creatures (no way!?). If you guys can suggest cards to take out to make room for like Shriekmaw's, or Sages, or whatever, I'd appreciate it :)
-Happy belated Halloween!

It's a complicated deck (not always a bad thing) which makes it hard to play. Since you're a beginner try sticking to mostly 4ofs and 3ofs. This makes it possible to strategize a turn in advance.

With that said, What's your goal? Cutthroat competition or fun, casual play? If it's casual, play with up to 80 cards. This will let you test out which cards work best in combination with each other, and which cards are just dead draws. Then just drop cards 1 a game till you're @ 60.

Good Luck!

hhhmmm, not to bad, i understand the damnations, but there are other ways. if you look ( and please comment on my deck) that it should help you out w/some issues that you say that you are having. other than that, i like your deck.

I had my deck sorted out, will post updated version soon. The updated version is still a bit tricky to get that combo off, but once it goes off, its fun. I've gotten 16-20 damage off with Wistful Thinking enough to consider this s fun deck :) Don't stop commenting! its helping! (really!)

*Will have another of my decks up soon if interested in being a good samaritan
