Definatly agree with Dedwards. Thrumming stone and rituals are key for this deck, also other mana accel instead of coat of arms. Lotus petal, Chrome mox, Mox diamond are all good cards. That would give you the chance to get about 30 rats on turn 3.
How on earth would those 3 cards get that much mana? They each only add 1 mana... 30 rats=90 mana total.... math doesn't add up, unless I'm missing something.
actually the way it works is......... Turn 1: Land -> Dark Ritual -> Dark Ritual -> Thrumming Stone Turn 2: Land -> Dark Ritual -> Relentless Rat (Ripple 4) = 5 rats -> Dark Ritual -> Relentless Rat (Ripple 4) = 10 rats total turn 2 Turn 3: Land -> Relentless Rat (Ripple 4) = 15 rats total turn 3 *Assuming you start good and ripple into 4 rats each time but still thats a lot of rats you don't really need any more ramp than this unless you can start drawing more than 1 card per turn
