Deck Description

Blue Artifact/Proliferate deck. Build your own golem-and-poison producing machine at home ! Once it's launched, until your opponent have some Akroma's Vengeance ready to go, they'll have a hard time stopping it.

Not competitive, but I think it could be a good base for a more mighty deck - if you got cash, get 4 Lux Cannon, 4 Spine of Ish Sah and 4 Tower of Calamities for total creature control ; 4 Titan Forge and 4 Conversion Chamber for an unlimited amount of marching machines stomping your opponents heads.

How to Play

There are some essential cards in this deck that you must have in play to make the whole mechanics work correctly. These are :

- Everflowing Chalice : kick it once, and let the proliferate mechanics transform it into a huge source of mana
- Golden Urn : your salvation, actually. The must is having one of them round 1, so that you have a big pool of life points saved for the rainy days.
- Golem Foundry/Conversion Chamber/Titan Forge : this is where your creatures will come from. Once it's launched, you'll easily have 1 or 2 golems produced per round. Chamber/Forge can gain easily two/three tokens by round if you pay for their abilities giving them more charges.

The agent is here to accelerate the game by poisoning your opponent ; once the machine is on, he will gain 2-3 tokens per round easily, and you'll just have to handle your adversary creatures with your golems.

The tides are an end-game accelerator. It can seem hard to handle a 5 mana card, but you will have them once you got your chalice on round 2. Just use the Esperzoa with Contagion Clasp -if you have them both ; works well with the surge node anyway- so you always have a spell to play each round.

It's obvious, but I say it : the Dais is used when you got a creature that is just going to die (often by blocking your opponent ones, but also when you launch massive assault if you produce a lot of golems by turn). Generally, when you're running out on possibilities, you sacrifice one, and then draw several cards so you can see further.

Deck discussion for Skynet V2 (ForFun)

haven't studied the decklist, but i already like it for the name :)) good one!

don't you need more lands and instants/sorceries for early game control?

Well, as I said, it's not really competitive :) I guess if you want more control, Stoic Rebuttal X4 and Vedlaken Certarch X4 are pretty good :) Generally, I got the Urn on round 1, and I easily get 15-20 life points with it when I have to sacrifice it, so you can handle many decks... if they are not too quick :p

And for the lands, well... I never had mana problems since I tend to have the chalice pretty quick. Once it's out, you'll never have any need for islands :)

Infect and Proliferate are a good combo. The deck I made with it is very fast and powerful http://mtgvault.com/1111222334/decks/infectious-proliferation/

Sadly, I don't fell like the proliferate mechanics is really fast. My other infection deck is BG with simple stuff like Giant Growth and Rancor, and it's really more efficient if you count on surrounding your enemy faster.

Should throw some Golem's Hearts in there

I thought about it but... There's not that much room for them I think :) And they are not that effective, cause from round 4, you don't cast a lot of spells, you just let the proliferate mechanics create golems and fill your urns.
