This is my Modern artefact deck.
It basically is about popping out small artefact creatures. Having an early Etherium Sculpter plus one or two Masters of Etherium, giving them strength, just like a "lategame" Tempered Steel. Thorn of amnethist gives you protection from early mass or single removal.Sideboard:If playing against Esper and red burn: Erase for O-Ring and Detention sphere, dont take out Thorn of Amnethist for any kind of instantAggro: Take out 1 or two Thorns, board in the stoic rebuttal and up to two Detention sheresPlaying against mirror decks is tricky: Board in the Leyline, to conter the enemys moxopal with yours, and play in his turn a huge amount of your hand.All in all: If you notice, you dont need your controll, swap it with your sideboard Tempered steel.

You should use a card called vedalken archmage it says draw a card every time you play an artifact and I believe it's only a 4 mana package it's been a while since I played but I think that card would let you play your whole deck in one turn. vedalken archmage is pretty slick. ive seen decks drop 10-15+ cards in a single turn easy with an archmage on the field.another very interesting way to go with modern affinity is the erayo-ethersworn canonist lock. my personal favorite take on affinity. it plays ethersworn maindeck, as well as erayo, soratami ascendant. providing both wicked fast beatdowns, and lockouts in one deck. something to think about at least
