The idea is to use Parallel Lives (or Doubling Season, which is preferred but more expensive) and mana ramp to get to an early Skeletal Vampire, then using his sac ability to create a bunch of Bat tokens. The same idea works with Wolfbriar Elemental, except creating a bunch of Wolf tokens instead.
