Deck Description

This is the deck I am currently running and have put the most thought into.
Some of the purpose of my card chosing is due to the access I have i.e. I have 1 steam vents because it is all I can afford at the moment. Any constuctive suggestions would be very appreciated.

How to Play

The main goal is to place as many guttersnipes with clone and cackling counterpart as possible or lay down burning vengeance and cast/flashback spells until the oppnent is defeated. Faithless looting speeds up the deck and fog bank and most of the sideboard offers protection from different types of opponents, while curse of bloodletting is to take out opponents that give me time to set up or kill off most my guttersnipes/burning vengeances.

Deck discussion for Burning Guttersnipes

Very constructive criticism. I'm sure it will help him/her a lot!

You are literally retarded if you think this is a bad deck. It actually has a style that I like because it pulls out guttersnipe and then copies him repeatedly. This can be a deadly effect especially with all the flashbacks he has and burning vengeance he can start dealing a shitload of damage for casting a spell that helps him such as cackling counterpart... (Apologies GARM00 if your a girl. Just assuming since most people on vault are guys. Btw nice deck haha.)

Ok lol. Sorry for going off at you. It pisses me off when people dismiss decks that have potential. Ya know?

i like the deck theme a lot! what i see though is your deck seems to be higher in mana cost for what i see as a direct damage deck with few mana accelerators. sorry i don't have any thoughts on replacement cards to speed it up though :(

Ummm... I only see one card that can cost over 4... and that's alright because he can pull out another Burning Guttersnipe with it. And mana accelerators would be like Chromatic Lantern?

I'm sorry to hear that.
Nice deck though. Arcane Melee might be good for the sideboard. I use it in my modern flashback deck and works wonders against heavy creature decks. I do, however, need LOTS of mana as I am utilizing Past in Flames and only have a turn for my Flashbacks. Might not balance well in this deck but worth a look.

I can definately see why arcane melee would annihilate but I'm worried about playing it. I decided to sideboard curse of bloodletting because when it was in the main deck I usually ended up discarding it because I didn't have enough mana to play it.

I would drop 4 Dream Twist for 4 Think Twice - Think Twice is card advantage, the same cost, and has flashback as well, and since you're not really going for mill dream twist isnt doing much here other than being a flashback spell.

I would also drop 2 Stolen Goods and 1 Mystic Revival for 3 Mizzium Mortars, or your burn spell of choice: a few removal spells can go a long way in the early game before your burning vengeance comes online to deal with creatures.

I've tried think twice but it pales compared to dream twist because I mill myself (I'm sorry I forgot to specify that) I also replaced it with faithless looting which does wonders. I might try mizzuim mortars though, thanks.

If I were to recreate this, I would first start off with instants that were 1 - 2 cost only. Then I would put in every scy/draw card availible to speed up the process of getting Guttersnipe. Throw in nothing but burn and unsummons, along with Snapcaster Mage and you will have a speedy turn 4-5 win standard deck. Your sideboard will need to be able to deal with artifacts, enchantments, and boardwipes.

This is a good idea, I can't say I'm enthusiastic about almost scrapping my deck, but I understand why this would work. I am not, however, in any possition to afford a playset of snapcaster mages. I also can't find any way to deal with enchantments if you would be so kind as to help.

U/R has has very little to deal with enchanments. The best option is a card like Cyclonic Rift to bounce permenants off the board.

The only other option beside Cyclonic Rift is Devastation Tide. This also forces stuff back to your hand, but you will most likely have less on the board when you use it.

Mystic Retrieval Dont work in this deck because u have a lot flashbacks and when u do flashbacks u have to exile it, and u cant back that card to ur hand Think twise is a good option :D

Has anyone mentioned Infinite Reflection? I know this is supposed to be a fast deck, but in the off chance that you need a finisher it might be good to have on in this deck. Turn every creature you own into a guttersnipe and then cast away. With your Electromancer on the board it could probably move pretty fast.

electromancer would become a snipe but having an army of snipes is never a badthing with flashback.

Dual Casting is always nice for thsi type of deck

Dual Casting doesn't work because it copies but doesn't "cast the copy"
