Deck Description

Render the defenses useless with card advantage and manipulation, then wipe out the enemy unopposed. Shock and awe, except I don't run shock :P (except the lands)

Edit: pulled a jace! Use his -8 and get a worldfire and a creature for game

Deck discussion for What We Should Learn in Chemistry Class

You do run shock, just look at your land ;P except that your really slow getting off the ground a lot of decks will deal near lethal damage by the time you pick up speed I'd suggest
-3x mercuial chemist
-4x blustersquall
+7 one or two drops
Given your instant and sorceries
Blister coil wierd may be an option
Delver would work offensively but he probably won't flip first try
Fog bank is pretty solid
Or perhaps just straight Unsummon or a main decked syncopate would work to slow someone one down while you set up

Funny :p Late game I find myself playing out my hand,.and the chemister is the perfect permanent solution to that. Blustersquall is very versatile. It can stop attacks , make an opening, or disable tap effects. I need them both, but I agree that I need a one drop... Delver isnt reliable enough, and I cant think of any other good ones, so ill just use frostburn weird for now. Thanks :)

The only odd thing I see is how are you going to recover faster than your opponent if you use Worldfire? Maybe put in some cheap direct damage spells to damage them after casting it or place it in the sideboard with your direct damage spells. Great deck, ended up adding Talrand to my Izzet deck too.

Worldfire is really only in,there for if I get jaces ultimate and immediately win. I usually discard it with nivix or izzet charm if I draw it

Even though you only have 1 of each in there, I don't doubt that you will be able to get both of them in 1 game (I've done it). Why not just use burn instead of a creature. The ability says non land so wouldn't instant and sorcery cards count? Nice deck. Check out mine. http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=394539

No I never play worldfire if I draw it, its just to fetch with jaces ultimate. I get worldfire from my deck and any damage sourcefrom the other deck

Very very nice, I'm a big Izzit fan and this is one of the better Izzit decks I've seen so far.

Thanks again for the input on my deck by the way :)
