Deck discussion for Phage, The Uncastable

I'm surprised to find no Dark Ritual. Also, why Barren Moor?

I completely forgot about DR, thanks, and as for Moor, it's just for cycling.

Infernal Tutor is an interesting choice... it needs to be the last card in your hand to do anything, and with the volume of tutors you have present, Torpor Orb/Platinum Angel will already be in your hand at that time. Might I suggest that spot go to recursion, such as Yawgamoth's Will? In this deck it presents a limitless (well, sort of) amount of tutors and develops a board state that can issue a deadly Phage every time. Not only that, it can get you back your lovely Torpor Orb in case anybody fries it. Speaking of which, if I sudden spoiling your Torpor Orb/Platinum Angel while Phage is on the stack, it makes you lose. Food for thought.

Infernal Tutor was not my first choice, but looking back now, I definitely have enough tutors to be able to do away with one or two of the bad ones.
Given that I will be playing multiple tutors throughout the game, as well as mana ramping to the heavens, Yawgmoth's Will can definitely be used to set up a game winning state very easily.
As for spot removal of my artifacts while Phage is on the stack, if given time, I would try to get out my Darksteel Forge to limit the removal to simply exile, limiting the threats to mostly white.

If you play phage from the command zone, you lose the game.

There are three ways to get around that, Platinum Angel, Torpor Orb, and Sundial of the Infinite, the deck's basis is to tutor for them and cast Phage.
