Deck Description

Non-goldfishing version of Boros. The idea here is to move away from the desperate 'haste at all costs' tactic in order to put in a lot more resilience and interaction. Lightning Mauler is overrated.

How to Play

Oblivion Ring and Bonds of Faith are excellent all round support cards that give you so many options and a push in almost any matchup.

Truefire paladin is a manasink if you're not overcommitting to the board, soulbonded to silverblade gives your opponent a vigilant, double-striking threat they have to deal with. Just having these 2 is a strong board presence, especially if you can throw a bonds of faith on the silverblade.

If necessary, the nearheath + boros reckoner infinite combo is also an option, but requires a draw 1 of those and a boros charm (along with then dealing some damage to the reckoner, perhaps by your own searing spear) so is an optional extra, not the main battle plan.

Ajani gives you some staying power and provides control matchups with an extra clock and improving power every turn and provides aggro matchups with another target. This is good.
