Deck Description

This is my deck version of http://www.mtgvault.com/thinker/ deck he put together that has made page one of hot new decks. Thanks for the inspiration

How to Play

What I am wanting to do with this deck
Best case:
T1) I am looking to play salvage drone ( great card for this deck early body on the board, draw and a discard and ingest they are going to want to kill it)
T2) start fueling my graveyard and seating my draw with Taigam's Scheming
T3) wanting to throw a wrench in there plan with transgress the mind and another salvage drone
T4)Bitter Revelation to fuel my hang and graveyard
T5) return Dread Defiler to with battlefield with one of 8 gravedigger spell you have.
T6) atk with Dread Defiler then exile creatures from your graveyard with his ability to burn your opponent that's why I have so many high power creatures. And after turn five you can start bringing them too the battlefield. Thinking you will have plenty of monsters in your graveyard to bring them back and burn them.

Even if something didn't work this way and you can get creature your looking for into your graveyard. You can always make then discards a monster you want and bring it back with a necromantic summons.

Well I never thought the deck would be running so many gravedigger spells as it seems that it would clutch. However, the deck seems very slow and inconsistent with no way of returning from the game against an aggro deck. Then again the concept might just save it +1

Thanks for pointing out I really had nothing for aggro. So added Qaris Sadist to the side board. To exploit the savaging drone. And what do you mean by clutch?

What I mean by clutch is that you would have too many cards of that in your hand when you draw it.

Oh I get you now. I was thinking with all the big creatures only costing 5 would be great. All the draw and discard will help feed your hand and draw so you can play the deck many different ways. And I agree that game one you are really behind against aggro decks. Thinking the new side board can help with that tho. Thanks again for pointing out how weak I was to it

And what I mean on only costing 5 is the gravedigger spells

I don't think you should worry about aggro too much as it is a deck in which a little stall can fix, but if you really hate aggro then you can change the deck to Black Red Eldrazi Reanimater and add in the 3 mana board clear and have tormenting voice for draw power along more removal.

I don't hate aggro. Just wanted this deck to be more versatile. And I didn't think about that when building. Was just thinking about getting the creature I need out on T5

Oh then there are infinite different ways to do that, one is by mixing the colors, another is by making the deck more creature heavy, or adding a little stall/control, mill variants can work too, the list goes on and on.
