kulrath knight doesnt backfire if you have everlasting torment out. kulrath knight says creatures your opponents control cant attack or block. anyway, you are right. sickle ripper is really good and you dont need everlasting torment but you do need blowfly infestation. it will kill so much faster especially with crumbling ashes.

haha thanks for the clarification on the kulrath knight. however, the blowfly infestation is good but i have actually experienced the backfire that can occur with it. true, it kills your opponents fast, but once they're dead you gotta move the -1/-1 counters to your own creatures and then crumbling ashes starts taking you out.

blowfly infestation and crumbling ashes dont backfire. you dont have to target your own creatures, you can just target nothing

i wish it were true, but if u look on the gatherer it specifies in the rulings that if you are the only one with creatures you must target one of them
