No you currently can't.

If you type in the card name a list of editions will appear. (You can also use " [M12] Bloodlord of Vaasgoth " to choose the set) In this case however, if you click on the card you see that mtgault only has the M12 and not the prerelease version ( http://magiccards.info/ptc/en/50.html )

Well black just doesn't have "burn" spells. Thats a red thing.
Maybe I'm a little bias, but why mono black anyways?
Sulfurous Springs and Dragonskull Summit are really cheap...
Of cause you can stay mono black, but you lose cards like: Stromkirk Captain, Stromkirk Noble or Rakish Heir.
The Phyrexian mana would hurt that much or you could play the real lightning bolt...

Don't get me wrong - I do like the deck especially out of a binder collection. I'm a hobby vampire player too ( http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/budget-vampire/ ) :P

I think I have to clarify "Life loss" to you:

"Loss of life can occur from unblocked creatures and direct damage from spells. [...] To pay life is the same as losing life, and damage causes loss of life."

In other words, every damage causes a player to lose life but not every life loss is damage!
(just like every thumb is a finger but not all fingers are thumbs)

Back to your Vaasgoth. He specifically needs "damage". That may include a direct attack or a burn spell like "Lightning Bolt".
But it does NOT work if your opponent lose life by "Bump in the Night" or "Blood Tribute".
It DOES work with "Tendrils of Corruption".

Still they aren't bad cards. They can finish your opponent if your creatures get killed or blocked...

Yea for Bloodlord to work you creatures need to be "cast".
Also on opponent needed to be dealt damage. Lose of life from "Bump in the Night" wont work here either.
If Bloodlord is your main idea than your deck seems to be battle focused. Maybe you use some instant battle tricks like Grasp of Darkness to make sure that you win the fight? Urge to Feed is a vampire card in case you like the flavor.
Personally I find Aphotic Wisps interesting. It often makes your creature unblockable and draws a new card for only 1 mana. A card like Unnatural Endurance could protect your creature in case you need that?!

Dark Ritual is very powerful card, but it makes your deck only vintage legal :(

In mono black there really isn't much ramp. Some artifacts create mana but that still doesn't increase your board presence. If you are playing free for all multiplayer games then "politics" are very important. What can you offer to for others to cooperate with you or don't want to attack you?
A simple Vampire Nighthawk would stop most attacks on defense or gain life on offense.
Also fun is Abyssal Persecutor. A 6/6 flying trample that makes players not lose as long as he is around. Imagine some1 is below Zero life. That player is your friend for the rest of the game. (And you can always play e.g. Life's Finale and kill it yourself) See where I'm going here?

Familiar is cute. Its a good filler, not sure if it is more than that. I think the best comparison is Prophetic Prism.
As Prism does not fix your mana (mono black) its 2 mana for an artifact that replaces itself on enter.
Familiar is 3 mana for a 2/2, which gives 2 life on enter and replaces on leave.

Familiar seems to do a bit more but is not an Aetherborn, little flavor fail?!

Could this deck work in modern without Dark Ritual?
Also i noticed you play some 1 drops and then quickly jump to 4 and 5 mana creatures.
How about what do you think about Gatekeeper of Malakir, Vampire Nighthawk or Bloodline Keeper?
Also Vampire Nocturnus is such a nice lord oO

Wow this deck seems slow. Liliana and Rise of the Dark Realms both come on turn 9 (assuming you made every land drop)
Beacon of Unrest revives a single creature for 5 mana ;(
Mutilate should be maxed.

Desecration Demon is your first creature on turn 4 and that probably can't even block.

Early board clear and then swing big is a great idea, you might want to work on it a bit more to survive aggressive decks.
What do you do vs. burn, control or combo decks?

Hope the deck isn't overloaded with 4 drops.
Animation Module is made for Yahenni and Trafficker.
Id replace Treasure Keeper with Weaponcraft Enthusiast. More synergy :)

Depending on your opponents Grasp of Darkness is a little easier on your mana then murder.

I dont like to play more then 1 or max 2 legendary if the deck doesnt absolutely need it.
On the other hand I wanted your Spirit tribal to have some synergy and not just to have the same creature type.

Looking through the cards I noticed that sadly most cards that interact with sprits are legendary.
As more then 2 legendary make it inconsistent I included 2 "Infernal Kirin" (as I thought there are very strong) and 1 "He Who Hungers". There are more hand control spirits and arcane spells but basing a deck around 3 untutor-able creatures seemed weak
Hired Muscle and its counterpart Faithful Squire are semi-legendary okayish effects but probably often only cheap beatsticks. If you don't like them, other real spirits will do there job.

Tallowisp seemed like the only real spirit with high potential to win the game on its own without being legendary.
With him and many spirits I wanted to include some Auras with versatile effects as you can tutor for what ever you might need.

Thief of Hope is good to. More then 3 seemed clunky though?!
Celestial Crusader is a weird lord. Also thought of not playing him as the deck turned out not to take the token rout.

Lastly the deck needed some good early creatures. I split those 4 one drops in 2 black and 2 white ones. Both have there use. If you like one more then the other, feel free to only play one of them.

Over all I think it turned out to be a kinda good but definitely fun and flavor budget deck

Eldrazi Conscription and Arcanum Wings is an awsome combo. I think I'm brewing some more...

Hi there. I saw the deck name and tag and got excited. I do love budget decks.

At first I noticed that murder just has better options in B/W. Mortify, Anguished Unmaking and my flavor favorite Rend Flesh. Even situational 2 mana removals like Victim of Night. Then I looked at your creatures and started replacing them.

After all I pretty much build my own version, keeping pretty much nothing but the spirit theme and the average $ price .

http://www.mtgvault.com/germynator/decks/bw-spirits/

Tallowisp is an awsome card advantage generator. Sadly it does not work with Aura-Creatures like Baleful Eidolon :(
I included a cheap but powerful Aura toolbox and some creatures that profit from spirits / arcana being played.

What do you think of it?

While building the deck I stumbled over Drogskol Captain.
He seems soooo good. Together with Celestial Crusader and token Spirits like Spectral Procession or Spirit Bonds...

Hi there stumbled over your deck in the new section.

Guess you put some Knights together because you like the type. Also you seem to play the cards you have. Therefore I'm staying budget for further recommendations.

Why are you playing enchantments? For flavor purposes equipping a weapon to a knight? :)
A removal spell on an equipped knight probably gives your opponent a 2for1. That brings me directly to the best knight: with 3$ a bit expensive Knight Exemplar buffs all your knight by +1/+1 and makes then indestructible. If you want to go further that road combined with a Wrath of God-like effect you have a potent casual deck.

You only have 6 red mana symbols but your lands are almost equal. Guess red could be a bit more dominant in the deck. Yet there aren’t any more red knights except Hanweir Lancer.

Black has 2 interesting knights:
Haakon, Stromgald Scourge need his own build but lets you cast knights from your grave.
Blood-Cursed Knight perfectly fits your enchantment plan

For now all your knights are white. Brave the Elements is an awsome spell for protection or attacking vs. mono colored decks.

The creature base is what makes the deck so I’m not messing with it. Only Order of the Golden Cricket really sticks out. Leonin Skyhunter simply is better. Riders of Gavony and Silverblade Paladin are also very strong but there are many, many more :)

Kithkin Armor cuts the deck off being modern.
Some cheap replacements could be Bonds of Faith, Sage's Reverie or Triclopean Sigh.

What do you think?

Are 2 Viscera Seer enough as sac options!? Young wolf is the cheapest undying you could play. Is he worth the spot?
Glen Elendra Archmage costs 4 mana. Thats 1 to much for CoCo :(
