Deck Description

The main inspiration to this deck was the card [Skeletal Vampire] and doing some playtesting with a combination of vampires and bats and i found the combination of the consistent damage that the bats provided along with the power that some vampires provided a very useful idea to use as a core of a deck to build around. It's probably not the best deck out there but it does play it's strategy out very consistently every game. Just watch out for those flying blockers but there are plenty removal spells for that. [Dark ritual] is currently not legal for modern but there are certainly other options if you want to use this deck for something more than your everyday kitchen table play. There are also a lot of options to thin this down to a 60-card variant. I do a lot of playtesting and these are the cards I mostly use in varying amounts of copies. So this is just to give you an idea how the deck functions.

How to Play

The general idea is to go wide with a lot of low-cost bats that can deal damage using their flying ability in the early game coupled with consistent dmg in the end step of your turns using [Throne of the God-Pharaoh]. The big creatures consist mainly of some strong vampires that can close out the game with their powerful abilities. ( [Skeletal Vampire], [Bloodlord of Vaasgoth] and [Vampire Nocturnus]). [Gruesome fate] is there to take advantage of the fact that you are going to have a lot of smaller creatures on the battlefield and allows you to burn your opponent for each one of them. The rest of the deck is mostly to support the core of the deck mostly through creature control, draw power and mana-efficiency.
