The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...
Start typing a card name and use the auto-complete feature to quickly select the card you're trying to add. Enter a quantity and add that card to your sideboard!
Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.
1. Play obzedat2. make copies of it3. play descent into madness4. use the obzedat to dodge the descent into madness effect.5. win with lots of fliers!

Does anyone know how to make this deck more effective (I need more small cmc creatures)

Quck question, why use Obzedat to avoid descent? He's legendary and would really only benefit you with one creature. Why not flood the field?
Could you suggest some other cards than lingering souls to do that? Another option would be to use something like power conduit on the descent to while producing a steady stream of tokens to create a bit of a stax deck. I'm a johnny, so I like that idea :D.
Thopter Assembly. Puts out 5 creatures and comes back to your hand. I'm working on a discard version here http://www.mtgvault.com/hokiecodemonkey/decks/madness/
Cool! I'll check it out when I have a bit of free time.
Couple other issues. Heartless summoning doesn't help your prototype portal, or casting obzedat by much. And it kills all your lingering soul tokens. I would drop that as well as the power conduit, not much benefit from removing counter from descent. If you're well prepaired for it, you want more things to be exiled faster.
Well, your definitely right about the heartless summoning, but I like the power conduit because combined with lots of tokens and descent, it is like a smokestack lock, so I'll keep 3 in.
I agree with the heartless, but power conduit with descent is a bit like a modern smokestack, and it keeps things under control. I'll keep 3 in.
Lol sorry for the double, now triple post. Kindle fire messed it up. XD
I would say you're a touch land heavy. No reason to go higher than 25 in my opinion, just put in ramp.
What good white black red ramp is there? The reason I say red is that I'm goin to take out the misthollow Griffin and put in some assemble the legions to combo with descent.
Artifact. Rakdos Keyrune is the best by far because of the 3/1 first strike. Go down to 24 lands with 3 keyrunes. Trust me you'll be happier you have the possible creature and ramp will speed up your turns to get your 5 cost enchantments out. Be sure to drop the black/red land for it, keep your white count up.Other thing is, you're going to need a few removal spells. If you don't have a way to destroy a permenant or creature somehow you'll be very sad when someone reanimates or ramps into something crazy. Think about what you're setup is week to and put removal for that. For example, if you feel you're weak to single big creatures but can handle a lot of little ones with your tokens then put in Doom Blade. If you think you'll get overrun with little 2/2's before you can get your tokens out then put in Day of Judgement. If you can't decide put in both for the possibilities. Also, think about your Mimic Vat. You've only got a few creatures that are not tokens. I think you're going to see a lot of scenarios where your creatures that die are going to be tokens and not trigger mimic vat. I'm not saying take it out entirely but 4 may be too many.
Good points. I'll make changes.
I see one card slot open. Try a Diabolic Tutor. You can get the Descent if you have Ascemble and Ascemble if you have Descent!I'm really liking what this deck has become. Let me know if you put it together how it plays!
Hey nice updates! Check out mine, I've made changes of my own.http://www.mtgvault.com/hokiecodemonkey/decks/madness/
Ok, thanks for all the advice! I really appreciate it! I will check it out.
