Yes it is a blue deck w/o counter spells. Sacrilege I know. I hate counter spells, but I am not a blue mage at heart. I did this to be fun and to play a blue deck. Yes it is modeled off Green Smash but I liked the combo of all those expensive blue beasties and Hedron Matrix. And Hedron Matrix just shines with Broodstar and Qumulox and helps to get them out cheaper too. Phyrexian Metamorph provides a ton of flexibility. Master of Etherium diverts early attention so the bigger stuff can take effect. Enjoy.

Have you considered adding a Mycosynth Lattice or two to further boost the Broodstar and give yourself more targets for the Metamorphs?
