This deck is built on the Aluren + Man-o'-War + Brain Freeze combo. With Aluren on the battlefield, "dribble" Man-o'-War by casting it as many times as you like for free with Aluren's ability, targeting itself each time, then drop a Brain Freeze for an instant-mill. As is the way with combo decks, most of the rest of the cards are there to help dig up the combo through scry and/or draw (Augery Owl, Wall of Blossoms, Carven Caryatid, Forsee). Early game defense is good with Blossoms, Caryatid and Man-o'-War. Later game recyclability is gained with Pranksters. Pranksters + Aluren also allows other creatures to replace Man-o'-War in the combo so it is easier to hit (more options). Pranksters + Aluren + Caryatid OR Blossoms also = unlimited card draw. Alternate win conditions are Forgotten Ancient and Hunting Pack. Sideboard is mostly control spells to slow down decks who are little too fast for the combo, plus an alternate win condition. A friend of mine recently challenged me to build a series of decks. We were discussing color splashing and I said (as I am sure many will agree) that green is the easiest color for splashing as it splashes well and naturally with any other color. So he challenged me to do a "Green And" series. I have 24 hours to build a deck that is "Green And" each color, to demonstrate my premise. The Judges (our other friends) later ruled that this includes "Green And Green." In addition, I have to have at least one each of Tribal, Aggro, Control, Combo and Creatureless (though these are permitted to overlap), to demonstrate versatility. This one covers green-and-blue and combo. Once I have them all posted, I will post the links in another comment. I hope you will look at and comment on each!
