Use Wall of Tanglecord to block early attackers. By turn 3 or 4, use Etched Champion and Darksteel Myr as a blocker while you are setting up Accorder's Shield (for Vigilance) and Cranial Plating (for Boosting). Use Stirrings (for Land or Artifact tutor) and Fabricate (for Artifacts). Basically Etched Champion are safe from Colored Removals while Darksteel Myr are safe from Doom Blade etc although he is susceptible with Path to Exile. Turn Aside to protect your Permanents
