That’s a tad expensive mana wise and I can just play surgical extraction if I did want that.

kind of... you can't hit basic lands with Surgical Extraction. Splinter and Liquimetal Coating let you exile lands. specifically you can hit a land already out and deprive your opponent of all copies of that land not already out for the rest of the game. this works particularly well against decks that run a lot of basic lands.

True, I was running Myr Landshaper but I felt like they just didn’t do enough.

I think that Liquimetal Coating is strictly better than Myr Landshaper.

either way. I like the deck. always fun to turn things into artifacts. :) the deck gets my +1.
