Personally I love slaughter pact because if some cute combo I've totally missed happens I can still hopefully stop it, even with no mana!

Ye I do the same as Jessie, but I also put a crazy name on because it grabs peoples' attention, high 5 to the face actually came from when my rugby coach explained I hadn't punched someone, I'd simply high fived them in the face!
The combo is cute, but it stays strictly cute!!! If robots is a big thing near you, take a more midrange approach and toss in a couple of pyroclasm and a 1 of Damnation, because that nets the little robots but can also blow out Abzan or elves. 4 terminate mainboard and a slaughter pact, you might want serum visions in here just to smooth out your draw?
Dreadbore is sorcery speed and allows regeneration, so no, Terminate is better
Fair enough, Wingmate Roc is a total beast, what about Mana Deprived? I think that is Alexander Hayne's sponsor, so they might be the best people for Canada? Well I used to run mono-white aggro and brave the elements was stunning, so ye I can see Gods willing being a good little card, not sure I'd play 4 though
Your only worry is creatures and combo, and unless its storm, its a creature combo, so you just need more targeted removal, more terminates and maybe a 1 of slaughter pact, Falkenrath requires other resources though and you may not have them which makes stormbreath better. Manaforge CInder is just a bit of a waste of space because it doesn't net you extra mana so that is an easy cut along with exhava because you have better cards available than her. Artefact and enchantment removal remains in the side, shatterstorm would come in vs affinity, but that is really the only deck to use artefacts in modern now that Pod is banned. Just make sure that every card is efficient on its own, because you aren't comboing here so you need everything to be able to win you the game, draw you a win con, or stop them from winning. It is a big shame dig through time is banned, but Tasigur is not, and he would make your deck 1 million times better... I'm a big fan of him xD
Fists opens up a creature to be removed with your protection on the stack though, leaving you with less resources, burn isn't aimed at your creatures, it is aiming at you! You don't need sweepers you need more targeted removal, possibly a 1 of Damnation. Plus Aristocrat will not dodge the best removal in modern: Path to Exile. Stormbreath slips through Path and gets passed lingering souls
5 is the minimum, it might not have got them in a short enough time though, trust me, just keep building decks, you're more than welcome to post on my articles, that's what they are for, and just build quality decks that can do powerfully. It was my Dramatic Entrance deck that really got me on the map, like count is at 52ish
You forget though, modern is all about card advantage, you're openly offering 2 for 1s with enchantments, Abzan has a field day with that, burn is just a bit too fast for you and unless you get a thoughtseize down or get 1 of 2 removal spells you have twin will kill you t4-5. It's a cut throat world in competitive modern. Blightning takes down twin nicely as well as more thoughtseize, you want more removal to take down burn's little buddies and inquisition of kozilek maybe. Against Abzan, the dragons dodge lingering souls tokens, and lingering souls is the best card against you, you also need to be able to go toe to toe with their big hitters and trade removal while keeping 241s as low as possible
Well I've always seen it as midrange because of the constant creation of creatures, but the card advantage gained from that should hopefully nudge you ahead
If I were you, I'd start defining it as aggro, and shifting to a far quicker deck, cards like Demigod of Revenge and other nasty red hasters, You can push it to a fast midrange deck, utilising brothers thundermaw and stormbreath, Nicol Bolas has no place here really. You need to be able to disrupt combos or go under them in modern, consider your match up against Burn, Abzan and Twin because then you can cover all your bases, in this current config, I think you'd have a rather rough time of it
Well it starts out, if you go GR, a little like this, then you realise that R/G aggro is a better deck xD
So what is your main aim with the deck, competitive or casual? And are you aiming for aggro, midrange or control?
I actually did a different version, I didn't want this to rely on manifest considering only 8 enablers in 60, I've done it in a dedicated morph/manifest but that is unlisted because i built it for one guy XD
Thanks xD its fine, I'm usually pretty stubborn about changing cards anyways, I'm more into helping people get competitive!
Its not as heavy morph enough to put ghostfire blade in
There both on the hot page, so i'll take a look
Make one and post it on my articles (preferably standard) and I'll take a look for u
Karn is one of the best card of the decks, and you need O-stone to clear the way!
Ye its expensive but its so much fun! Thank You!
