Deck Description

So it turns out that this deck is surprisingly awesome, go and test it online before you pass judgement because it plays a lot better than it looks, here are my results:
vs Genesis Wave 2-0 win
vs Ascendancy combo (SB into gifts ungiven) 0-2 loss
vs Storm 2-0
vs Delver 2-1
vs Infect 0-2 (too damn fast)
vs Soul Sisters 2-0
vs W/B Token Lifegain 2-0
Give it a go because it is surprisingly good! If you want me to test vs a specific deck I will and I'll get back to you on it ASAP!
Happy Spell Slinging

How to Play

Sure, its called 'Walk the Aeons' and I'm just trying to get it further forward because it can defeat big decks. However I'd just like to say that comments like that really aren't very helpful, I'm just getting back to Vault and seeing this doesn't inflame my passion for it.

Ha, this deck is hilarious... I might just use the idea to play against my friends back home... But +1 from me, I'm glad to see a non-budget creative deck on the front page that is also competitive... Nicely done good sir!

BTW- the only thing I might add would be a Stormtide Leviathan just cuz it's a little cheaper than the eldrazi and it shut's down the opponents creatures that don't have flying or islandwalk.

Cheers, its great fun at serious tournaments, although you win most games 1-0 xD, the eldrazi are there to end the game quicker as I don't care about my opponent's creatures since they don't get an attack step past T3-5

so random idea, but what if you go RUG, run eternal witness, kikki-jikki, splinter twin, and deceiver exarch. you could copy eternal witness every turn, returning time warp to your hand and having infinite turns

To be honest, if I was doing that, I would build Kiki-Pod, and also it would remove some of the core of the deck, and that is the main issue, chuck a few spanners in the works and it collapses

I do love this combo but if it becomes a thing if opponent has sb ugin's nexus, game. you need to find an sb item to exile an artifact so if round 2 someone pops the nexus on you round 3 you add a card to exile it. unless you can pop your combo regularly before opponent has a chance to respond

That is a card that no one ever plays in competitive modern xD But it can be cryptic commanded to their hand

lol that would be crazy to see ugins nexus as a major sb card.. but it would require quite a meta shift

0

You would have to exile it, which may mean adding white, a prospect I don't like!

you could run steel sabotage or stifle in SB instead.

stifle for if you have a way to destroy it after it is out. I think Steel sabotage would be better.

To be honest, I'm not worried about Ugin's nexus unless this deck becomes tier 1 played by pros

Yeah I wouldn't even think of it, it sees no play in anything it's a junk rare

http://www.mtgvault.com/gothy/decks/i-swear-that-used-to-be-a-tree/ The next concoction for modern! This deck is an issue for Walk the Aeons so watch out for it!
