Kuldotha Forgemaster (Playing ..

by graeme123 on 30 April 2011

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (12 cards)

Creatures (1)

Sorceries (1)

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Ideal turns
1: Swamp or Island or untapped duel land, followed by duress or preordain
2: Ramp Card- Everflowing Chalice, Sphere of the suns
3: Play a tumble magnet or just sit with counter spell
4: It would be ideal to play the forgemaster however, this would be risky
If playing Control you will have no pressure so just save up mana until you can play the forgemaster as well as a counter spell
5-7: Get one of the target cards out
TARGET CARDS: Myr Battlesphere, Blightsteel Colossus, Mindslaver
Usually get the battlsphere
Use Forgemasters Ability at the end of your turn so you can come in swinging with the target immediately
Once you have used your battlesphere and given them some damage on their turn go and get mindslaver by sacrificing 3 of the 4 tokens
Use mindslaver to get an open attack on them or just basically fuck with them
If you are playing a Non Control Deck
Your First target should be a Blightsteel Colossus played after a black sun
HIt them for 11 infect and win
I need help with sideboard so i would love to hear your comments.
I didn't know whether to call this a more combo based deck or Control
O and Alternate win condition: Argent Sphinx
With metal craft it wont die.

Deck discussion for Kuldotha Forgemaster (Playing on a budget)

If you're not worried about legality, I'd strongly recommend adding the artifact lands to give you fodder for your Forgemaster. Otherwise, since you're playing black, consider Lethal Vapors with Mindslaver. If your opponent is unaware, you could do some nasty, nasty things.

Take control of their turn with Mindslaver and have them activate Lethal Weapons cancel effect 100 times, thus skipping their next 100 turns. Granted, they can get out of this by activating it in response to you taking their turn, but most will fall victim to it at least once.

I welcome any comments or criticism you can offer for any of the decks I have posted on the site (just click on my name to see the deck list). Thanks in advance!

Your pretty much the biggest idiot ever.
I'm so clearly playing t2 so I wont play any of the cards you recommended.
And if what all i wanted to do is control their turn, then i would make that deck
but this is this deck
and im playing Kuldotha Forgemaster and not that lethal vapors card

"Biggest idiot ever"...clever.

I guess perhaps if you want T2 advice you might want to POST THAT IN YOUR INFORMATION! No one here is a mind reader.

Thanks for stooping down to name calling, though. It's a great way to ensure that these three comments are the only comments this deck will see.
