The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

The idea behind this deck is to get poison counters on the opponent as quickly as possible, then proliferate. Black and artifact creatures deliver counters with Infect, unblockable Blues can deliver counters with Tainted Strike. There are also some elements of control to get enemy creatures, artifacts, and other spells out of the way of your creatures, and some terrorism to stress out your opponent.

Bladed Pinions and Whispersilk Cloak can be attached to any creature with Infect with the purpose to get it past enemy blockers.

Precursor Golem can be used in conjunction with Tainted Strike to have a wall of Infect creatures attacking at once.

If you can manage to get Tainted Strike on a Perilous Myr or Triskelion, you're almost guaranteed to get at least 2 poison counters on an opponent that turn.

Quicksilver Gargantuan can come into the battlefield with any number of useful effects, most notably Indestructable from Phylactery Lich, Infect and Flying from Plague Stinger, or Unblockable from Phantom Warrior or Neurok Invismancer. Any number of enchantments/equipments can make this a game-ender.

Relic Putrescence is there to force your opponent to make a decision: whether he wants to immobilize an artifact (or artifact creature), or take poison counters. Is it necessary for practicality? No, but it sure is insidious.

Doom Blade, Grasp of Darkness, and Mind Control are all there to get enemy creatures out of your way.

Stoic Rebuttal and Sadistic Sacrament counter and remove potentially harmful spells. Also, having 15 of your cards selectively removed is pretty damn horrible.

Steady Progress and Inexorable Tide are unbelievably good when used in combination. I’ve proliferated 5 times in one turn using these cards in combination with other cheap spells.

Imagine a late-game Strata Scythe on a Quicksilver Gargantuan imprinted with Plague Stinger. Or even on just a simple Plague Stinger.

And as for Mindslaver, well… I don’t have to say anything about that. The pinnacle of MTG terrorism.
