The oh so hated Counter deck
going first is better, just counter everything untill u see something u like then take it over. I Found the Creature guile to be awesome so now when u counter u can also just take it as well. Just keep Drawing and have fun.

dovescape combos with guile
Yeah that would be cool, counter all there non-creatures easily, but that would also counter mine as well.
and ive got my only Dovescape in my Spider deck at the moment
When you have dovescape and guile out on the field at once, you can actually combo for infinite birds, making other counterspells essentially irrelevant at that point. Looking back at your deck I noticed that you only had the two guiles so the combo might not be the most suitable for this deck.other cards that might be worth looking into are lullmage mentor for synergy and momentum, trickbind or time stop to give you a wider variety of counters, and redirect to take advantage of any auras rather than just countering.
Thank man for the post man, im totally into lullmage, i think that kind of synergy wouldnt hurt at all. and im gona use redirect too, i can just see my friend getting pissed now.
