Deck Description

Really fun casual deck. Many resilient/hard-to-attack-into creatures that slowly build up while you wait for Pontiff of Blight to come in and give all of them extort. Alternative finisher is Crypt Ghast + Exsanguinate, with the damage that Geralf's Messenger and Vampire Nighthawk tend do inflict this is often the kill. Many instant, cheap but powerful control cards to stall and Undying Evil + Orzhov charm to keep your Crypt Ghast + Pontiff on the board.

Maindeck for under $50. Enjoy!

I added some to the sideboard. Gloom vs decks that play big creatures fast and Thrull Parasite against combo/ more control heavy decks. good tip

also instead of executioner's swing u can put cards like doom blade or victim of night or ultimate price or tragic slip or tribe to hunger this cards are better than executioner's swing

Executioner's swing also kills indestructible and regenerate creatures. It also has no targeting restrictions, really solid card.

Tragic slip - good card, I am not sure if I would remove anything for this card though, I use it in many decks but I feel like here it goes to waste. Why? Well if everything goes as planned your opponent will not be attacking much, so rarely something dies as a result of combat. This limits the application of tragic slip for this deck a lot. So it's a no.

Tribute to hunger is a card only necessary when your opponent has ways to make his creatures hexproof because it evades targeting restriction, sideboard stuff maybe, but you can't have all the answers for all the problems.

Maybe 2x Exuctioner's Swing can be traded for 2x tragic slip but I don't think it will be much of an improvement.
