Deck discussion for Mono Black Vampire Deck

I like it, but it seems a bit underlanded. Also why deathgreeter? i mean hes great and all but blood artist is the same but a little better and a vampire to boot.

1 drop Trump Block/ I can come out on turn 1 and attack and 20 lands isn't enough?

hmm, it said 16 before, but yeah 20 is enough. and I would say that blood artist would fit better flavorfully, however deathgreeter is a better one drop for your curve . . . well its a flavor vs playability thing, and whenever i make those decisions i side with flavor but that's me.

This one is more of a rush type of deck. I'm going to kill you and I'm going to do it fast.

Then I have only one question, why screeching bat? I'm not gonna lie outside of limited its a pretty awful vampire, is it for budget purposes? Cause budget problems i can totally understand. i would say consider malakir bloodwitch but thats a 5 drop.

It's not a budget thing it's a good flyer and for a 3 drop it isn't too horrid.

Why not consolidate and use playsets?

You can easily kill off playsets with cards that say " you can't cast such and such card" and I've seen friends get screwed over royally for not having the diversity.

Id play playsets and then have a varied sideboard to swap in then. That way you have a more direct consolidated strategy in your main board.

Its funny because that's exactly what i do. Which is why no-one in my play group runs more than 2 of anymore unless its a very important combo piece.

I'm also not a pro player. I play with my friends at our College Cafeteria most of the time. And we just have fun. There is not a single one of us that uses a side board out of edh.
