And why do you think that?
Chandra's Phoenix is a 3/3 that costs three that has all of those abilities already, including haste and an ability to return to your hand from the grave.
Chandra's Phoenix is actually a 2/2. *cough* Although they are similar they do have different mechanics. Opponents paying or not paying tribute affects this card greatly. Four is an appropriate cost for this since it has the potential to be a 5/5 flying or having it enter with haste and then return to your hand instead of it dying.I wouldn't necessarily say the creature is bad; just that you wouldn't run it.
actually it costs 4 and the haste and return to your hand is dependant on whether or not the other player uses tribute to get rid of the ability

It's just there are better cards to play at 4 mana. With as big as removal (mono black, U/W/x control) is in standard right now, nobody will really care about a 5/5 non-haster if they have the removal. If they don't, a 3/3 for 4 mana isn't that great even if it does go back to your hand. I'd much rather play polukranos, ghor-clan, or xenagos. However, I GUESS I could see it in the sideboard of the GR decks simply because it has flying though.

I'd much rather have a main deck Polukranos than a flame-wreathed phoenix. I find the Monstrosity ability is much more useful than a 3/3 or 6/6 flyer. Might just be me.

I'd complete the playset of Fanatic of Xenagos, cut the Mistcutter Hydra (See what I did there?) and mainboard the Ghor-Clan Rampager.I also don't really like Burning-Tree Emmisary here, because it feels kinda bad when you have to play a 2/2 for two. I think you should consider Peregrination for your high cost creatures and a scry.
What about Archetype of Aggression?
In speed decks like this one I find it takes too long. Also why does this deck have so many likes? There are so many better aggression decks that you can make now that born of the gods is out. This new set comming out can and should change standard big time.

Does BTE count for 4 devotion for Xenagos since it costs hybrid mana?Same question is relevant for other hybrid creatures for the two-colored gods.This would be crazy.
Unfortunately no. Hybrid mana is "only one mana" so BTE is 2 devotion

Deck's looking better now.The mistcutters still need to go, they should be polukranos most likely.Magmajets are pretty awful in standard right now. Id cut them all and run 2 more fatties of choice (colossus, dragon, polukranos) and 2 mortars or flesh//bloods.the one of scooze isnt doing anything, cut it for a 4th caryatidPS: you CANNOT run anger in the side of this deck, it completely hoses you. you need those dorks for this deck to work at all.

Mistcutter=sideboardBurning Tree Emissary=I would take outTribute=Variables hurt though I do like Fanatic of Xenagos because of consistency, I don't think we are gonna see a lot of him. 4/4 for three mana is good but there is just too much competition in Standard for it to be effective.

I've played against a "XenaGruul" deck much like this recently, and I can say first hand that these things hit like a runaway ice cream truck.
