Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

Have you ever imagined killing your opponent with a Hydra? You Have?? Have you ever considering doing so by throwing it high up into the air and letting it squish them? NO!?!?! Well here's how!!!! (see below)

How to Play

Use axebane guardian and gatecreeper vine to help ramp up your mana. Then drop corpsejack menace followed by an x drop hydra. then once its super powerful, FLING(Blood for M14) it at your opponent for the win!!! Or just kill them through normal means.

Tutor for any cards you may need

Deck discussion for Flinging Hydras (M14)

I would try to stick with red/green as much as possible.

Savageborn Hydra?
Kalonian Hydra?

black is there to help with corpsejack and diabolic tutor, while axebane gets me it as well this gives me a back up just in case. Kalonian is also super expensive. Savageborn maybe

I do not see the value of Diabolic Tutor too much in this deck. I feel like it could flow without it based on how hydras tend to work independently.

Corpsejack does ramp those +1/+1 counters, however, you need to ramp mana hard or that is not going to help until turn five. Primordial on his own can be dropped on turn three. By turn five, he is a 4/4. With Corpsejack down, dropping him on turn five makes him a 6/6.

There are other cards that can help ramp mana other than Axebane. And you cannot even Fling Axebane, or any of the other defenders for that matter, effectively.

I wanted to remake the deck, but I am deciding to lay off making new decks unless they will be legal in the next rotation. I am pretty sure that limits us to M14 and the Return to Ravnica block. I do not see Fling or Primordial in there.

My buddy has a deck like this, it's annoying unless you have a way to prevent direct damage.. which I dont in most decks

It's always funny when people lock down with defenders thinking they are safe and then your 20/20 gets flung at them for direct damage lol. I'll try to look at his deck tonight for cards but he doesnt do standard so I doubt any of his cards would help out this deck. Loving your decks from what I've seen so far
