I'd drop the illusionists bracers. What do you get, one extra activation off the guildmage?
I feel like if the whole point of the deck is to have many cards, why would you want to discard your hand and let your opponent get back the card advantage; using Jace's archivist?
I am pretty sure I can. That's at least what I do at the local FNM where we have a licensed judge.
Except equipping isn't a spell.
The vault seems to be bugged; I couldn't add 2 doom blades to main deck. There should also be 2 doom blades and 2 go for the throat in the sideboard, to balance it out.

Wow, This combo is awesome! :D I'm going to build this and win FNM for sure ^^ Think I'm going to throw in some ponder and jace's ingenuity though, if the combo comes out too slow it might not be as effective... Probably going to put some more counterspells and removals as well... Great work!
Great for your first deck! I made a similar deck a while ago, didn't work too well, it depends too much on you drawing liliana's caress for it to work effectively... Also, I usually keep my mana pool at 22 +/- 2 lands, otherwise you might be stuck drawing only lands...
