Deck discussion for Dragon

legion loyalist is strictly better than raging goblin if you don't mind paying a little more.

Good choice, choosing Dragons as your first =D

My advice would be to get some "burn" spells to protect yourself, and your creatures. 'Lightning Bolt', 'Flame Slash', 'Shock', 'Chain Lightning' are some of the few I can think of.
I would also remove, not all, but some of the Gobbah's and add some more mana generation, stuff like 'Cloud Key' or 'Locket of Yesterdays'
Just remember, this is only suggestions, you and your friend should build whatever you feel like, and take it from there =)

'Dragonmaster Outcast' is a good 'weenie' - personally I'd only play him in decks where there are some good "land-tutors" meaning "search-for-land-spells" and they come with a high pricetag, sadly, but if you don't mind that, then look up 'Arid Mesa', 'Scalding Tarn', 'Bloodstained Mire' - all are the so called "fetch-lands" and what they do is nothing but great. Many will question their use, and would rather play a basic mountain instead, but the fetches "thin" your deck, it removes two spaces for 1 mountain, and thereby increases the chances for you to draw the cards you really need =)
