The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck discussion for My first deck, comment and give hints.

since it's your first deck I'll go easy and it also helps to explain some of the card choices. take out tuktuk grunts (i love my allies but i don't even have them in there, too expensive), canyon minotaur, pretty much all the cards without effects. right now it's kinda a big pile of red and blue things. try and make it more focused on what you want it to actually do.

Alright, thanks for the comment, I've been thinking about what you said and I did some changes:
(Please note, I'm very limited in physical cards, as I play this game only under friends, and I'm still new, I've only bought a couple of booster packs.)
I removed the Tuktuk Grunts, Goblin piker, and the Canyon Minotaur from my deck, and I've added:
1 Burst Lightning, 1 more Lightning Bolt, and an Act of Treason (the reason for this is, my friend has a couple of Eldrazi's in his deck (Kozilek, Butcher of Truth), and I'd like to turn the card against him).

i would take out the 2 beserkers of blood ridge since they just make you attack and they are 5 mana, i would think you'd be better off putting in more counters, cancles, mana leaks, or negates would all help.

Interesting that you chose to use blue for your first deck, I find that colour the most difficult to use.
Although you're currently limited in your selection of cards, I suggest using more than 1x and 2x of the cards as the deck is inconsistent. If you up the main cards to 3x and 4x and cut out any filler cards and / or unnecessary cards, then the deck will work better. Because of the 1x and 2x of cards, I can't tell what you're trying to achieve with this deck so I can't help.
You could use Expedition Map to search for Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle.

If you can: replace Berserkers of Blood Ridge with as many Kiln Fiends as you can find (Rise of the Eldrazi), replace Prodigal Pyromancer with Cunning Sparkmage (Worldwake), replace Lava Axe with more Act of Treason (M10,M11), also try to run more Mana Leaks (M11) and if you can get 4x Distortion Strike it works great with the Kiln Fiend. Hope this helps.

I would say that your first order of business is to try and use more of each card if possible because it will make your deck more consistent. most of your cards should be 3x or 4x unless they are high mana cost cards. as the mana cost goes up, you will probably want less of those cards in your deck because you won't need them until later in the game. also i would reccomend trying to decide on a strategy that your deck will follow. Do you want to completely mow your opponents over before they have a chance to do anything or do you want to keep them from doing anything as you build your army etc. there are many different strategies you could come up with. once you have decided on your strategy. take out all cards that don't work towards that goal and replace them with cards that will help you achieve that goal. I understand that you don't have many cards so this may have to be a gradual process as you collect more cards. If you really want to improve your deck, you would do well to set up a deck on here that plays consistently and performs well then buy just the cards you need online. It will be cheaper than trying to get them through booster packs. However, you can also just change this deck slowly as you increase your card base. When i first started i bought a bunch of the intro packs, played with them for a while, then took them apart and used all of the cards to make a deck that would work better. Lastly, You need to remember the strengths of each color. Red deals with speedy creatures and lots of burn, although it can also have some bigger creatures as well. blue mostly focuses on controlling the game so that it turns out in your advantage. Blue is one of the more difficult colors to play well but it can also be one of the strongest colors when played correctly. I hope this helps. If it does, take a look at some of my decks and tell me what you think.
