It's a creature deck which attempts to summon more and bigger creatures than it should honestly be able to. Chronozoas, in particular, benefit from Paradox Haze and never get tired of Clockspinning.Earlier versions of this deck featured a lot of those "if it gets targeted, sacrifice it" illusions, which do seem like a bargain. Unfortunately, they are far too easy for an opponent to destroy and it made the whole deck hinge too much on keeping a Lord of the Unreal alive at all cost.This deck could use some Scry effects, which would help to insure there is always an Illusion in the top five cards, I just haven't decided on what to use.
The general idea is to overwhelm your opponent with big flying creatures. The Chronozoa can be a real terror if you can get them multiplying. Krovikan Mist can become very large, especially if you use the Mistform Mutant to turn opponent's creatures into Illusions.Suffers from slow starts. Against an aggro deck, use Brainstorm to try to find Epochrasites and have them get killed chump blocking as quickly as possible. The quicker an Epochrasite is killed, the faster it'll be back as a 4/4.The Lord of the Unreal can be kept alive with a Mask of Avacyn, or by having the Mistform Mutant turn him into an Illusion, so he benefits from his own Hexproof and +1/+1 (and it makes the Krovikan Mists bigger too).
