UW splicer deck(need helps)

Main Deck (60 cards)

Sideboard (0 cards)

No sideboard found.

The owner of this deck hasn't added a sideboard, they probably should...

Submit a list of cards below to bulk import them all into your sideboard. Post one card per line using a format like "4x Birds of Paradise" or "1 Blaze", you can even enter just the card name by itself like "Wrath of God" for single cards.

Deck Description

This deck is composed by M12 block. (except for Wall of Omen, Preordain)

It has a simple concept.

Cast the splicer (with 3/3 token golem and artifact creature ability), reinforce them with Tempered Steel, and hit the opponent player. (also using Venser, the sojouner for proliferate golem in battle field.)

I think it has worked for duel with slow decks.
But it can't be a match for high-speed artifact creature decks. (using Memnite, Ornithopter, Vault Skirge)

if they had a good hand card, I can't withstand only 5 turns.

I hope the new tactics that has advantage to speedy decks.

Plz help me.

Deck discussion for UW splicer deck(need helps)

This is the splicer/golem deck I play:
http://www.mtgvault.com/ViewDeck.aspx?DeckID=220660

And it has been pretty succesful so far. It does take a couple of turns to get going but I use my bounce cards like Disperse and Into the Roil to bounce any threats early on. I also use the ornithopters to keep small creatures at bay and if you face another tempered steel deck you can bounce it and block the litte guys. Also the bounce spells keep the splicer from getting Doom Bladed or Bolted.

Good luck!

Ever think of using the Myr that add mana? The splicers tend to be a bit pricy (mana). Annother card I can suggest is Semblance Anvil. A Myr imprinted on the Anvil reduces the cost of your creatures or artifacts my {2} :p

In my opinion the simulacrum's don't belong, and four blade splicers is a must. If you're using preordain just go all the way and use ponder instead. I'm also using timely reinforcements in my splicer deck i'm making. as well as cathedral membrane instead of wall of omens. sol ring is a good accelerator if you can find it.
